What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact workout that utilizes spring tension and weight-bearing exercises to strengthen and lengthen muscles while alleviating aches and pains.
I’m new to Pilates, how do I start?
We recommend starting with the introductory package. You get 3 private sessions to learn more about the exercises and equipment on a one-on-one basis. Purchase here.
Is Pilates good for injury recovery?
Yes! At RTL we specialize in injury rehabilitation.
What should I wear?
Wear what you feel comfortable moving in! We recommend tighter fitting clothes as we sometimes have legs up in the air or over head.
If I’ve never done Pilates can I join a group class?
Yes! Our classes are open level and anyone can join! Just let the instructor know it’s your first time and they will provide extra guidance.
How long is each session?
Private sessions are 55min
Group Reformer/virtual mat classes are 45min
How many people in each class?
Reformer classes are limited to 5 people. Everyone can receive individual attention while enjoying the community group setting.
What’s the difference between Lead and Regular instructors?
Lead instructors are exceptional instructors with 10+ years of experience. They have a deep understanding of how the body moves and have taken courses beyond the regular Pilates certifications.
